Silhouette Mid-face Suture™

(Corona), California – Kolster Methods, Inc., the
inventor and developer of the semi-bioabsorbable
Silhouette Mid-face Suture™ for the fixation of soft
tissue in the aesthetic and plastic and reconstructive
surgery markets, announced today that it has released
the Silhouette Mid-face Suture™device for
commercial sale in all U.S. markets. The
Silhouette Mid-face Suture™device received FDA clearance
in October 2006.
This product
is the very first in a series of Silhouette suture
products with various “indications for use” that we plan
to introduce over the next twelve months that will
enable us to continue to meet the needs of our surgeon
customers in the plastic surgery market. The
Silhouette
Mid-face Suture™
device represents a significant advancement in that it
allows a surgeon to perform a mid-face rejuvenation
through a single incision with or without the need for
an endoscope, using only local anesthesia.”
Dr. Nicanor
Isse, a board certified plastic surgeon with extensive
experience implanting the Silhouette Mid-face
Suture™device, will be hosting educational seminars to
teach surgeons how to use the new product. More
