This instrument was developed by Howard Tobin MD. and consists of a specially designed sleeve that works with the aide of a 4mm, 30 degree, 7 inch scope. The double stop-cocks allow irrigation when needed to clean the end of the scope. The sleeve has dual suction ports and a guide tube for the CO2 laser fiber. The hooded end of the sleeve serves to lift the implant away from the laser field and also provide a precise aiming point. The configuration of suction, laser, and endoscope allows for precise visualization of capsulotomy and control of bleeding. Made of the highest quality surgical grade stainless steel, the device is steam sterilizable. Available only from KMI.
